A BeoPort box must be connected to the Mac and to your Bang &
Olufsen products. The BeoPort box is connected to the Mac with a USB
cable and a line-out cable. These cables are supplied with the box. The
BeoPort box is connected to the Bang & Olufsen products by means of a
Master Link cable. The BeoPort box also makes it possible to connect
Bang & Olufsen speakers directly to the box so while working on the Mac,
you can listen to music in the Bang & Olufsen speakers. By connecting an IR
receiver to the BeoPort box, you can control the volume of the
connected Power Link speakers and navigate in the music lists using the
Beo4 remote control. Without the IR eye you can only control the Powerlink
speakers from the BM-link application.
